An almost dead forum?

What a shame... I thought I had found the perfect forum to talk about music, one that covers just my favorite music genres, and discover that people over here almost doesn't post anything!!! Seems like a forum visited by "guests", non-registered members only?!!

I just hope something changes here in the near future...

I don't doubt you do so, but... Have you seen how many topics without any reply over the several subforums here? I think the members need to participate more to make this a good place to talk about our favorite pastime: listening to music.

I listen to almost everything. Mostly Soundtracks and Post-Rock these days, though. But its all good

There are no such things going on here as far as I know; all of our members are registered like yourself. I can`t speak for everyone, but look at my number of posts, (which actually speaks for itself) and you`ll know that I`m here many times a day.

Actually, two of our biggest posters have been away but will be back in a day or two. Hope you`ll stick around and be a bit patient. It`s people like you who can make this a better place.

Hi, Rojo, I very appreciate the encouragement.

Please don't get me wrong. What I meant to say was that, in these two days I am joining the forum, I took a long time visiting lots of old topics over the several subforums here, and one thing I clearly noticed was that many of these old topics never get any reply. I think this is very disencouraging for anyone who starts a new thread, so that's the reason of my complaint. That's also the reason I said that we all need to be more participative, in order to make the forum really worth joining.

Of course I will keep trying to do my best for this very nice place to get better and better. After all this is, undoubtedly, one of the most eclectic music forums I had the chance to know over the Internet, and I do like this very special characteristic.

Thanks for your concerns ... a good number of members are here at least once a day ... others, like Rojo and myself, visit this site numerous times during each day. I've been out of state for a few days, so I'm having to catch up on some 139 posts myself.

For many members in the US and Canada, this Summer, the usual time for vacations in these countries. We're really happy that you have found this forum and have decided to be part of this great community. Stick around, it only gets better

I visit this place actually at least one time a day, but I have to admit I can not type that fast - so it takes me always a certain amount of time to answer the posts. Yep, but I do enjoy surfin' here and reading the comments of others.

Same here - browsing at least once a day, replying if the subject interests me. However, I also visit other sites, and maintain three blogs and so te amount of time I can spend here is limited.

Glad to hear it, Progger. And I agree with you 100%, there is no forum quite like this one; unique I would say. Everyone here is really nice and friendly too.

I am also new here,and I am just getting started with exploring the delights of this vast forum.I have made a few posts mainly in metal at the minute,but my tastes are wide.So prog will probably be my next port of call.
