I've found another recording, from the Notre-Dame du Bonsecours church in Rouen(I did'nt know that there are two Notre Dame buildings in Rouen). The recording contains works of Lefebure Wely, which includes Op. 122.Organist:Joris Verdin;Organ:Cavaille Coll;Ref no. RIC253.Further info on Joris Verdin can be attained at his website www.jorisverdin.com. Hmmm I,ll have to start searching for a new bank-manager.

Caddis, thanks for the interesting website for Joris Verdin! I lfound the Notre Dame de Bonsecours basilica. Bonsecours is a town on the the plateau east of Rouen. (7,000 "bonaulixiens" living there). There used to be a Notre Dame de la Ronde in Rouen but, the French Revolution took care of that one. Victor Hugo called Rouen "the city of a hundred bell towers". Oh, incidentally, the current appointed organist for the "grand orgue" at the cathedral is Lionel Coulon.

    Thanks for the info Karen
Bensecours must be quite close to Rouen,I could'nt find it in The World Atlas
or the tourist maps I've got.I don't think the "bonaulixiens" would approve
the idea that they come from Rouen.

Bonsecours is one of the small towns next to Rouen that are part of the municipality of Rouen.
