I found a recording made at Notre Dame Rouen at this site www.rouen-histoire.com/Cathedrale/Orgue.htm
The recording contains tracks of composers I've never heard of,T.Boyvin,M.Sawa,L.Coulon and J.Titelouse.
Organists: Lionel Coulon,Grande Orgue;Monika Dabrowski-Beulen, Choir Organ
Still havn't got anything solid on St. Maclou yet.Anybody know of a music shop in Rouen who does mail orders?

I've got Marie Kronstadt playing Bach on May 7 & 8, 2000. The reference number is OSM02. It was produced by "Les Heures Musicales de Saint-Maclou". Artistic Director, Jean-Lous DURAND and Sound by François CASAYS

Thanks Karen
The recording can only be from St. Maclou.I've checked seven French websites and found no affiliation of Marie Kronstadt with Notre Dame Rouen.

H-m-m-m, strange, I bought this recording in St. Maclou after Marie Kronstadt played a short recital for our group visiting different organs in Normandy. She even signed it. Born in 1975 near Moscow, she obtained a degree in piano, chamber music, etc. In 1996 she went to France the the Rouen Conservatory to work with Louis Thiry (who also played a small private recital for our group on the organ in the hospital chapel). She also works with Jean-Louis Durand who, if I'm not mistaken, holds the principal organ position (titulaire d'orgue) at St. Maclou. At the the time of this recording, Ms. Kronstadt was his assistant. I'm not sure if she still is, which could explain the lack of info on the websites. (Not ALL information in France is available on the website. Sometimes a telephone call or letter is necessary.) Careful though, I do believe there IS a Notre Dame in Rouen. Caddis checked websites for Kronstadt's affiliation with Notre Dame in Rouen. St. Maclou is another church with it's wonderful organ.

Hi Karen
Thanks for the info.I checked Marie Kronstadt's affiliation with Notre Dame Rouen in regards to recordings, wether she made a recording at Notre Dame Rouen. The last info I could find on Kronstadt was an advert for a recital at St. Maclou in 2005.Wether Kronstadt has played a recital at Notre Dame Rouen or not,I don't know.Only one website contained a reference to a recording by Kronstadt at St. Maclou,no reference number,no
title, just a statement that a recording was made.Wether the recording is the same one you refer to,I don't know.I also found no info on the reference number you gave.Looks like I'll have to write a letter, making a phonecall from S.A. is going to be way toooo expensive.

Having lived in Rouen for over two years (2002-2004), this thread makes me regret I never attended an organ concert there.

Not really, but my wife is not crazy about organ music, and she felt even more isolated than I given the language problem, so we tried to do things together after work.
