    Mixer question

When you have a mixer is there usually a place to put tapes for each individual parts then to the computer, or will I need to buy a tape thing for each invidual port.

Are mixers digital recording now? I am going to use this one as an example

buy a decent computer I like Corillion or Mac, and decent software,Lower end protools,a couple of decent mikes. And use any old piece of nonsense for a desk, with the correct tools its only a carrier tool, all the work is done on screen.Boss do an amazing compact 4 track digital recorder for under 150.Use with a computer and the skys the limit.Buy a cheap desk and put your money into decent mikes.

Thanks. Thing is I don't actually need any mics. I use electronic instruments.
