I often like short, easy to play vignettes that one can just grab and slot into a "preganant pause" moment (in a service for example), or simply as some delicious music to play during communion.
My idea ... all of those out there who love to improvise, why not take some time to jot down your ideas and submit. I'll happily compile (Sibelius/Finale) and create an Organ Forum anthology called (to be decided by popular vote) "Magle Forum Vignettes".
Ideally, each piece should be short (no more than two pages) and easy enough for an intermediate level organist to play. Pedals, of coures are just fine though manuals only is great, too.
Let me know what you think?
