My name is Albert Maksimov and I am harp and chromatic harmonica player.
I am a chairman of the Ukraine Harmonica Assotiation
and director/conductor of the harmonica course at
Kiev Harmonica Club.
Classical music, jazz, blues. Composer.
In 2006 I recordered First Harmonica CD in the history of Ukraine.
This CD named "Not Only Jazz".

Hats off and a huge congratulations to you, on your CD the first jazz CD for harmonica in the Ukraine with an additional orchestra, which I had the true pleasure listening to yesterday.

The harmonica if not the smallest of instruments, then an instrument any cowboy in the USA in the past could have in his back pocket. Later often used in blues music and in jazz.

One of my favourite musicians from the USA pop scene Stevie Wonder played it quite well too, and my latest discovery, the very young Gregoire Maret, who joined The Pat Metheny Group in jazz on PM´s innovative album "The Way Up" in 2005 played it with almost equilibrism, like had he done nothing else.

I wish you and all of your obvious equal harmonica friends from your website the very best for the future, and hope for you and us at the MIMF for a lot more albums in jazz from the Ukraine starring the harmonica up front, played by you Albert Maksimov.
