The bodyguard (whitney Houston) Music question?

I have a little question about a song in this movie.

In the scene where Whitney go's out with Costner you hear a Male singer perform the song "I will always love you"

Does someone know the name of that artist?

    thnx in advance

No I don't. I do know who wrote the song. It was Dolly Pardon.
I'm sorry I can't help. I will look it up somewhere in this library
    and tell you later.
