Jocelyn Pook's Masked Ball sheet music

Does anybody have the faintest idea about where I might find the sheet music for "Masked Ball" by Jocelyn Pook (from the Eyes Wide Shut soundtrack), and, eventually, for other cues such as "Naval Officer" and "The Dream"? I have been browsing the web for an endless time, but could get nothing concrete.

    Hi,

After doing some research on this in the US, I discovered that the music can only be rented for performance. On the Chester Novello site there is this link for Jocelyn Pook ... from that page I clicked on "works" and entered "Naval Officer" and it came up with this explaination:

HIRE (RENTAL) — The rental agent in your territory is the source for performance materials. Not every composition on this web site is available in every territory. Full scores, vocal scores, piano reductions, and libretti may be for sale by music dealers.

Manuscript Editions are scored for eight or seven or six players or fewer and are not in print. They are not available from music dealers. Scores and parts are printed on demand for sale by the rental agent after an order is placed.

From the appearance of things, normal everyday sheet music is not available for those pieces - rather only rental scores for orchestral performance which typically means royalty fees as well.

It was an interesting search - sorry that I also came up with dead end roads.

That's interesting. I wonder if, for a piece such as the Masked Ball, they would also supply the samples of the backward chanting?

One slightly creepy yet arresting piece that one. I've tried to do some processing on it to figure out what language it was - it certainly doesn't sound like English when it's run forwards. My ears pricked up big time when watching the film for the first time as I've used reversed samples of chanting and speech for years in my own stuff.

Also loved the stuff Pook did with Peter Gabriel - two supremely talented folk combined.

EDIT: From what I've been able to glean from a couple of quick searches, the chanting used in Masked Ball was a traditional Romanian Orthodox prayer (reversed of course)
