Re-reading Stephen Kings - Needful Things. Apart from an entertaining read it serves to remind me of how we can be fooled, and fool our selves into believeing we want or need things which are totally unnessesary.

I'm about half-way through The Complete Stories of J.G. Ballard. It is a 1200 page tome. He's a very intriguing--and sometimes confusing--writer. It will probably take me another week or so to finish.

Full Dark, No Stars by Stephen King. Four shourt stories. King is certainly a good story teller. two of these were based on actual happens which he has woven into his tales.

The Three Loves of Persimmon, Cassandra Golds (been nominated for an award in the NSW Premier's Literary Awards 2011)

Seriously one of the best books I've read in the last 10 years (along with Like Water for Elephants)
