Started on some old Len Leighton novels. Probably best known for his spy thrillers he also wrote some marvellous books about the second world war, BOMBER being one of the foremost.

Everything is under control...... Words worth considering. Just starting to read 'Freedom' by Daniel Suarez. Just finished 'Daemon' - a somewhat frightening novel based on what could be a computer future - or even present. These novels make 'Brave New World' and '1984' look like ancient history. They make terrific reading even for the computer expert. ATB!

Hey there Buchpteclare - long time no see, really nice to see your post. Who is the author of Daemon? I'm not googling this as I find human interaction (even by typing into a blog site) a fine endeavour ... David

I have a tablet full of prose articles I've written
in either fanfiction, or about things I like.
I don't mind proof reading this either about the
game characters and pokemon. My pick is about
Palkia and Dialga.

Jeffery Deaver - The Burning Wire. Story based around forensic science and its use to sole a crime. Quite a good storyline, but I felt that there was insufficient development of the characters, and excessive use of slang, not just in the dialog which is understandable but also in the bulk of the text.
Not sure if I would read any other books by him

"I Want To Change The World" by Percy Barnevik. Mr. Barnevik has been a top leader in Business for over forty years and now he spends his millions on helping those who are stuck in hard-scrabble poverty - What an inspiration he is........
