What's on your Xmas wish list?

With the holidays approaching rapidly, it would be interesting to learn what everyone here would like to receive as a Xmas gift.

    I'll start ...

    - Digital Recorder (capable for recording pipe organ)
    - LP to Digital Turntable

Nice looking instrument, Corno Dolce ... handsome pricetag, too. Hopefully your gift giver has very deep pockets

My parents have just asked me. To be honest, I'm doing well enough at the moment that I can't really think of much, so I think that I may suggest those gift deals you can do with charities, whereby a goat or a well is provided for a village in your name.

Otherwise, my other half and I are off to do our own Christmas shopping in Paris at the weekend (only two hours and 15 minutes from London, now). I'm thinking of good perfume and nice handbags.

    Hi Krummhorn,

And it is a very well sounding instrument. Unfortunately, this will be something that I must acquire myself since I am very particular about how the Double Bass will *fit* me. Each and every acoustic string-bass instrument has its own idiosyncracies which are only fleshed out with an *acquaintance session* with the instrument in question, which means a trip to the Luthiers workshop.

    Cheers,

    Corno Dolce

What I like for a christmas present? I wished I could get a violin for
christmas or maybe a nice songbook. What would be even better is
for our boys in war to come home for good someday.

For christmas, I would like to earn a lot of money to offer a wonderfull xmass to my family. For me , a cheap virtual organ with nice sounds and able to run with my computer (HP pavilion) will be a great gift..

    Hi Marval,

May the Christmas that you and yours celebrate be one of contentment, joy, peace, and the love which passeth all understanding.
