Just wondering which ye prefer, a gig or an album. Me myself i love the gig cos there is just so much energy and its just so much fun.

I can enjoy both venues equally. The genré of music I prefer doesn't abound in a great number of gigs where I live, so we have to resort mostly to recorded albums. But with my "killer" audio setup at home, it's just like being there ... well almost.
