Just watched the 1970s Stepford Wives, a film I quite liked, unlike the remake with Nicole Kidman which was a totaly load of horsepoo.

"Charlie Wilson's War" - on a scale of one to ten, with ten being metaphysically excellent - I give it a 5-1/2.
We were just into watching that the other night over the internet but someohow it's buffering more often than usual so we just reached the portion where a woman came into his house (was that the one who went to his office?) when he received a call. I don't know who Charlie is in history but when I searched YouTube I saw this video telling Charlie to stop lying. We wanted to watch it because of Tom Hanks, what movie he is into now.

I'm extremely grateful that YouTube is banned at my office because 99% of the content is just so disgusting (as is amply demonstrated by recent postings of YouTube droppings here).
The Atonement.
I havent wathed it yet, but I have heard really good reviews and the preview seemed really good (so I feel confident recommending it before I saw it myself). I am going to watch it soon and report back!

I've seen 88 Minutes yesterday by Al Pacino. Great movie!
Last week I saw Rambo - I don't know if its a "good" film but it brought to light the cruelty of the Burmese government against indigenous peoples.
I'm now downloading "The Legend Of 1900

I was able to watch this about a decade ago perhaps, or a bit less....suddenly I recalled about it and I looked for it because I thought it is a good one I'd like my kids to watch...
If you haven't heard of it, it's about a boy who grew up in a ship, abandoned by mother, if I recall it right. When he became a little boy (as opposed from being a baby) he saw the piano...from there he learned to play from his heart...he was as spontaneous as he can be (as the film implies). That's what I mean when I posted that you can invent (from another thread about playing on weddings). I'm sure the spontaneous pieces are compositions of the great masters, as it is just a film....and a legend, as the title suggests.
Nonetheless, I find it a great movie....sad ending though. It's drama and comedy with great classical music.

Not long ago the danes could watch the old 1970īs trilogy "Jaws" on the telly. Steven Spielburgh directed the first movie about this incredible big nasty looking Great White shark.
When I first saw it in 1976 the movie had me moved into terror, while sitting in the darkness of the cinema. I used to swim a lot to keep fit at swim stadiums, a fairly good swimmer then at 22 years of age.
The movie though had me for the next 2 years (Iīm not exaggerating) to get this feeling while at the pool of absolutely terror. Remember the beginning of the movie when we all watched the legs of the young girl from below the surface of the water, while a consistingly solo cello played the music, while the camera moved upwards closer and closer to the legs of this innocent young girl having a swim at night. Suddenly the camera is above the surface of the sea and we watch the face of the girl - close up, and then she is being pulled in an incredible speed in the water forwards and backwards, we all know what have happend.
I know it sounds stupid being at the public swim stadium in a pool, where no Great White has ever been. But I became terryfied for 2 years. Of course going to the beach to the sea - was out of the question.
Thatīs how good the first "Jaws" movie was directed by Steven Spielburgh.

"The Bucket List" with Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson as lead actors. A really good flick.

Let me explain a bit...
Not everyone gets shocked easily, right? Not everyone gets AFFECTED easily. There are some, which no one knows how many in the whole wide world. It just so happens that you're probably one of them.
Since birds of the same feather flock together, your friends are most probably just like you too, with the exception of a few.
Try to send me a specimen of your handwriting...you can scan it at 300dpi and save as .jpg at 100% size. Preferably, writing is on unlined paper and in script (as opposed to print/allcaps).
Anyone else would like to try it too (sending me handwriting specimen), feel free to do so...and I'll tell you what it reveals...
It's not guesswork...never.![]()
