Toots Thielemans "one more for the road"
What I like about this CD is that it features a number of female singers I wasn't aware of:
    Lizz Wright I like
    Silje Nergaard I like
Beth Hart I'm not sure about
Oleta Adams I think I like
Has anyone else got views about these singers?

Alan Vaché Big Four "Strike Two".
I must admit that Alan Vaché (cl) and his brother Warren (tr,co) are musicians that I found
through Spotify and I admire the music produced by them and various other associated players
such as Phil Flanagan (b), Brian Lemon (p), Roy Williams (tbn), Allan Ganley (dr), Harry Allen
    (saxes) and many more.
It seems that I missed this particular wave of mainline jazz at the time it appeared.
Another set I also missed was Randy Sandke and associates (The New York Allstars).
It is great however to have at last discovered these talented musicians who I listen to regularly
having bought or downloaded about 10 CDs.
    Highly recommended.
    Cheers John

    ps teddy,
Please persevere with Dianna Krall, it is well worth it.

Gee, it sure will take you some time to get thru' all that...
