    teddy! I'm a hard core McCoy Tyner fan, and I like his solo album "Echoes of a Friend" the best.
    You can hear all his technique as a pianist without other musicians creating distractions.
    It's also his best playing, I feel.
    This is when he got it together to confront his past, and honour his mentor.
    If you haven't heard him solo, you should, just to assess him as a musician, alone.

    And I did listen to some jazz today, treating myself to You Tube on a borrowed computer with nice speakers.
