    Schubert Winterreise tenor

I love the D.F.-D. baritone versions of Winterreise but would like to find a less exclamatory tenor version. Any suggestions?

For baryton I cannot live without Hans Hotter.
For tenor my choice will be Ian Bostridge with Andnes,

    or

Peter Schreier with Andras Schiff or Sviatoslav Richter.

    SES - excellent choices!

Yes, DFD can be a little "barky" and exclamatory at times, but his Songs of the Wayfarer? Cannot be improved upon.
