Very funny article. There are so many supposed devices to make life easier, but I personally think they are just a waste of time.
I remember the K-tel record selector, didn't have one, God gave me hands and eyes for that. The latest one I have seen advertised is the bobbleoff, just run it over your clothes and no more bobbles. What happened to the humble clothes brush?
When we were kids and my mum wanted the wood floor in the hall polished, my sister and I tied dusters to our feet, and slid along the hall, much more fun.

LOL @ marval, ah the dusters on the feet trick ... we did that in my house too, from memory.
Glad you liked the article, Richard Glover is a sharp-brained, sharp-tongued man and monumentally amusing.
That article is hilarious!
I got into trouble for laughing out loud when I read "the Tong dynasty ..." bit (meant to be working).
:-(
Oh Im sorrybut at least it was well worth it
lols
*smiles knowingly @ Mat*
and by "knowingly" you meant "porozumiewawczo"? oh right, I forgot you don't speak Polish... lol
*smiles back and points a finger at Pillowig*
*thinks Mat is far too obscure for words (which is rich, I know)*
