Hi Ms. Margaret,
Oh yes, I do so very much enjoy "South Pacific" - Bali Hai is that beautiful scenic vista on the North Shore of Kauai you so easily see from the Princeville Hotel.
Cheers,

what about 32 short films about glenn gould, thats a treasure http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=INJFCqs6oNY
I just came back here to post this--I forgot all about it and it is definitely my favorite film about music and musicians.
They do an amazing job of portraying a musician without the actor actually having to try and fake his way around the instrument.
Very moving film; good on so many levels.
And by the same director: The Red Violin. Not nearly as good as 32 Short Films, but a decent fictional-historical look at the violin.
"Fantasia" by Walt Disney Studios.
"Copying Beethoven" directed by Agnieszka Holland (Polish director).
Film's about last three years of Beethoven's life, the time his was writing his last symphony. Main character performed by Ed Harris. Watched it two days ago, during the "Hearing Olympics"
The Red Violin
I just downloaded Copying Beethoven. Will watch it later. It sounds interesting.![]()
Watching the 2nd film of 32 now...upon the above recommendation.
I was tricked in the first film!![]()

Pink Floyd's The Wall and Rautavaara are mine.
what on earth are the 'hearing' olympics ... ?
I used to have the soundtrack to Saturday Night Fever, Grease,
Jonathan Livingston Seagull, and the Jazz Singer by Neil Diamond.
