    Guitar players

I wonder how many guitar players are there in this forum? Cefobe is
supposed to be one of us, and I play the guitar. Could you guys
let me know? I'm sitting here with mine in my lap and I can't do like
Cefobe and send you guys a video via youtube. So let me know
    something.

Maybe you can just audio record it instead and save to mp3?

    I'm married to a guitarman.

I guess I could do that if I could get a microphone for my computer.
That's when I will get my camera also.

Help me to learn electric guitar

    Hello everyone,

I really want to learn electric guitar. My favorite electric guitarists are BB King, SRV, Buddy Guy, Eric Johnson, David Gilmour etc.

How difficult is it for a fingerstyle player to learn electric guitars and be able to play Blues Solo? I only play with thumpick and three fingers and never learn to play with a pick. And I am very new to scales etc. I personally feel that learning online lessons could be a better option then going to private classes…Anyone here knows a good source for online lessons for beginners interested in electric guitars.

I play the guitar. Before you can do those fancy finger works you need
to know some of the basic chords. I will try to help you. By the way,
welcome to the forum. I'm glad there is someone beside myself who
    plays the guitar.

    Hi dollar,

Welcome to Magle International Music Forums.
Although I do not play any form of the guitar, I'm pretty sure you will be able to find lots of answers to your questions as well as enjoy some wonderful discussions about your instrument.

Rodolfo, I looked up the guitar gallery. They made me wished I still
had my spanish guitar. What I have now is an Estaban guitar which
likes to cut my fingers when I play it. I bought one when I was a kid
visiting Mexico. There was something like a farmers market there
probably a marketplace. They had homemade guitars in plastic bags
hanging like sausages side by side. My dad bought me one. You
don't know how I miss that little instrument. All of the Estabans I
can purchase could never replace that one. This is the one I did
learn how to play guitar on. I was eleven then now I'm in my late
    forties.

Hello everyone, it's been a while since I didn't visit the forum
I play guitar too, and though I am certainly a newbie at it (I recently learned this word "newbie" in english, hope is not offensive) I'm taking classes and I'm very happy with how it goes!

The best thing to do right now is just to get used to the instrument.
I also play the guitar. I've played it since I was twelve. I'm 47 now.
The strings are one thing you need to condition your fingers on so
that you can play it. Next just doodle with the different frets up
and down and each string. I call that doing scales. By the way,
welcome to the forum. You need to check out my thread on the
    guitar.
