    A full-blooded JSBach...

Here's a nicely full-blooded interpretation of JSBach's great C-minor prelude on the "magic machine" in St. Sulpice:

Wow! That organ makes the one at my church look like an accordian.
How beautiful an instrument and building! I love it!

Hmm wonderful. I'm not a total purist, and do like Bach 'big' so that really is very satisfying, peronally!

Do you have the complete Bach organ music in your collection? You can pick it up quite cheaply from the States on CD. Problem of course is that you need to print off the pieces when you start to play them ... I bought mine at http://www.cdsheetmusic.com/ and no, I don't work for them, but just like their product. The Bach is excellent. The French organ collection isn't always the most "urtext" apparently.

Thanks, CT64, for that link ...
I've just ordered the Bach - I have had the other two for a number of years, and for my purposes (mainly church music) those editions suffice.

Krummiest - the Bach is so vast, be prepared to be thoroughly overwhelm'd.

I'm Fairly new to a major liking in classical music (3 months or so) and I really love Bach's work. Is there a CD with a bunch of minor(positioned) Pipe Organ work on it thats certainly worth the buy?

CT - I don't have the complete Bach organ music and the link is very interesting.
So it's a CD then, and you just print the music off? ... shouldn't think that's too much of a problem.

    CT64,

Just arrived: JS Bach: Complete Works for Organ (CD) on Saturday afternoon - only time today for a quick perusal, but from what I've seen so far ... WOW ... finally, to have The Art of the Fuge as a score ... . Guess I now need to learn Alto Clef for some of the pieces .

But yes, worth the purchase ... every penny of what I paid, and then some.
