    I remember this, was horrendous. Fortunately, the richest of Sydney residents were the worst hit, those of us that are at the poorer end of the social ladder were spared (tongue in cheek, slightly)

    Wow, what an awful thing to happen. The size of those hailstones.

    I'm glad you were alright, but unless you experience something like that, it is hard to imagine.

    We had a hailstorm the other day, but nothing so dramatic.

    Contra we had a hailstorm that big here in Kentucky where a tornado
    touched down in the next town. They were the size of a baseball.
    I was just twelve at the time. The sound of the hailstones falling on
    the roof was hair raising.
