That is a nice song, very well arranged,and you do succeed with the sound of the 80's.I really like the guitartone and the solo at 02:35,very melodic,makes the song interesting beyond the catchy riffs.Clever use of exotic scales in outro solo !
The production is fat all over :-)

is that a PRS you're playing?
found the youtube of your song. very clinical, very mid eighties shrapnel records LA. There is still a market but I think you should develop the slower melodic style you have in you. Ie 1st solo break. overall technically excellent, perhaps stronger melody and put within the context of a band may get you heard and appreciated. Well done though very impressive shredding in places.
