    Dearest Krummhorn,

You had never seen the Werner Icking Archive? I feel partly responsible since I have known of its existence for many years and I took it for granted that since you are a conductor of Choral Music you would know about this. I am heartily sorry for this my offense. Now, let me show you another archive from which you can order lots of very hard to get Choral Music:

I do truly hope that this might help you.

    Cheers,

    Corno Dolce,

Do not despair, dear colleague of mine ... I knew of the cippo.net site for PD choral, and of course the presently [temporary] defunct IMSLP, and a few others, but had not heard about the Werner site.

Btw, I would go completely insane if I were indeed a choral music conductor ... If I am to flap my 'wings' about that much, I would better direct my 'flight' towards the organ keyboard ... ... over the years, I have directed choirs, but only in pinch situations, although choral conducting was part of my academic studies in college.

    Dear Krummhorn,

Thanx for your merciful demeanor. It can be a real trial-by-fire when one leads a choir - one almost needs to do a double-major in Music/Psychology to be prepared. The Choral Instrument can be a Heaven-sent gift when all are pulling as a team.

    Cheers,

    Looks great; thanks CT64.

I wish they'd get IMSLP going again...

    Scores Galore episode 2

Note to all instrumentalists and everyone else with a healthy(?) interest in

    free sheet music, this page needs thorough investigation;

    http://icking-music-archive.org.

Everything is legal, the archive is run by the university of Århus (my

hometown), and the music can be printed using the pdf option on the site. I

will gladly answer questions if need be. Big up to everyone around MIMF, it's

    a great place to be.

    With kind regards Peter

Thanks for the heads up, Peter. I think we have another thread about this site, and when I remember where it is, I may merge this with it.

    Dear Ms. RoJo,

Aren't we running afoul of any MIMF site policy if we merge the Icking Archive with MIMF?

    Just curious.......

    Cheers,

    CD
