    A girlband play electric violin

Do you know Bond? A girlband play electric violin. You will love them when listening their song.

    Hi thomasz

Yes I have heard Bond play.

I like them because they are different. They have lots of energy, but are still able to play well. Not the sort of music to relax to but, interesting to watch.

In country music I've heard of girl bands with one playing an electric
violin fiddle style. Especially here in Kentucky where they have Blue
    Grass festivals. Of course!

Don't know them but then again I hate the term girlband. Like is it really necessary to segregate based on gender or is it just bad marketing?

I would say its rather good marketing actually, considering that the general public of your typical "bands" (girl/boy bands that is) are teens, who are very ...i cant even think of the term, but basically girl/boy appeals to them for some reason.
On the other hand, if you just say band, in my connotations at least, I picture something else - something very different, a rock band, punk band...
