Greetings All~

I found this site after exhaustive searching the internet for the past 3 days. I
hope that someone here will be able to help me with my first question. I am looking to make a "virtual pipe organ" utilizing Hauptwerk software and although I have a midi keyboard I found a site that said you can modify electronic or even electric organs to accommodate MIDI.

Naturally, using a real organ has more appeal to me, and I LOVE the pipe organ sound as I was a church organist on a pipe organ when I was in eight grade...so long ago!

Now I have moved to Canada and nothing but time on my hands until Immigration gives me the final permission to be a permanent resident with my husband and this sounds like a project that would make me quite happy.

I have a photo that I found on Craig's List and am pretty sure I would like to buy the organ, but I can't identify from the photo what the Model is in order to do further research.

Here is the link to the page to see the organ in question:

If anyone who is knowledgeable about Hammond Organs wouldn't mind taking a look to see if they can help, I would appreciate it. I have not actually played the organ in about 30 years, but am keen to return to it.

I have also added an attachment which includes the picture, but since I am new to this site, I don't quite know how it works. It does show the file name when I click on the attachment icon. Hope this all helps.

Thanks for any help. I'm sure I'll be a regular here.

Hello Stephen,

Welcome aboard to Magle International Music Forums.
I'm thinking we may be able to help you with your questions. There is an internal forum called Electronic-Digital Organs, that has several threads dealing with "virtual" organs and/or "hauptwerk".

We also have numerous members who are quite knowledgeable about the Hammond organ, and will most be able to identify the model in the picture provided.

Looking forward to seeing you around these pages.
