    Profanatica - Profanatitas de Domonatia

Earning a space among the handful of black metal releases after 1996 that you wouldn't be ashamed to play for anyone, Profanatica's latest "Profanatitas de Domonatia" unites the aggressive and the contemplative in a melodic but unrelenting powerful tribute to blasphemy -- as a way to get past Christ and Satan alike.

Profanatica - Profanatitas de Domonatia review

...one of the few recent metal albums I would not hesitate to play to a classical listener.

Symphonic metal "sounds like" classical but has nothing in common with it other than a few ripped licks, in my experience. I may encounter a band that changes my mind, but in the meantime, material like the new Profanatica is more true to the classical spirit.
