Methodistgirl, coming back to your original posting. First of all Bin Laden is most likely not in Iraq...he is most likely in northern Pakistan or near its border. He requires monthly treatment with a dialysis machine, so he is not far from an electrical wall outlet, a hospital, or a generator in a cave. He supposedly travels with a portable one everywhere he goes for longer periods of time, so I've read.
Bin Laden and his supporters consider their position as being "Freedom Fighters". Regardless of his actions being considered terroristic by you, or noble by his brethren, "Freedom Fighters" and "Terrorists" are defined by the people temporarily/presently in power, and they in turn, control the media.
If the British would have won in your countries war of independence...your Founding Fathers and greatest revolutionary war heros would all have been tried and hung as terrorists and forever proclaimed as such in history books, because their fight for freedom would have been portrayed as treason against the British Rule.
I hope Bin Laden is caught and tried for his murderous acts, or better yet, just bombed to pieces and forgotten, but I hope its not before certain Administrations take a good long hard look at who they choose to align themselves with, and understand that the term "The friends of our enemies, are really our enemies". I am sure you feel no love towards some of Bin Ladens' friends(simply by association)...even though its possible they may have done you no wrong, so you may have something in common with his way of thinking as so many others do.
