    Fuga on "Happy birthday"

It was a strange job asked like a joke by one of us, but I have written this 5 voices fuga on "happy birthday"
I have done all my possible to write it in "bach's style", I do not know if I have made a succes. I let you judge.

This fuga whose duration is 5 mn 30 secondes long, took me more than 18 hours of work, for 74 bars and 2472 notes. (about 2.3 sec/note).
It has been a very fun exercise.
    Friendly yours. Jean-Paul

Wow, this is wonderful idea and wonderful work of yours!! Way to go, Jean-Paul!
Is there a PDF score available, too? Can you write a fugue from any given theme?

    Yours respectfully,
    Mat

    Bravo Jean-Paul,

I quite thoroughly enjoyed the scholarly treatment you gave to a somewhat ignominious tune.

    Respectfully yours,

Great work, Jean-Paul ... I knew you could do it. Even though you probably can write a fugue on any theme. I hope that the forum members will refrain from abusing your talent. We don't want to wear you out!

I apologize for some small mistakes of the display (in particular, when two voices play the same note).

    J-Paul,

I think Bach himself would be marveled with your accomplishments in writing this 5 part fugue. Indeed, as you put it, a fun exercise ... 18 hours of work, too ... that's dedication if I ever saw it.

Splendid fugue ... splendidly composed and written.
