    Question Albinonis Trumpoboet concerto...

I was listening to the local classical station today. The announcer said he would be playing a trumpet concerto by T. Albinoni. I listened eagerly as I had not heard this before.

When the piece began I immediately recognized it as an oboe concerto by Albinoni. So now I am confused!!! I have two cd's with this oboe concerto and listen to them quite often. The trumpet concerto was exactly the same except the trumpet replaced the oboe.

Has anyone an explanation for this?

Hawk, sounds like the trumpet player was just plagarising due to a limited repertoire.
