    Cantilene in Vierne's style

    hello everybody.

I would like to present you my latest composition. It is a cantilene in G minor.
I have tried to compose it in Vierne's style because I love Louis Vierne's organ music.

This music is dedicated to my friend Corno Dolce, who, I know enjoys Vierne's harmonies.

    Dearest Jean-Paul,

You're a man after my own heart - Thank you for the lovely *Cantilena* - It has a quiet nobility about it. It was the music of Franck that led me to the music of Vierne, Widor, Messiaen and then Tournemire. Tournemire's music I just can't get enough of - just like JSBach.

    Most humbly and respectfully yours,

I am sorry, there is a breakdown on the server where my music is stored.

Please, visit again my web site a little later, I am sure you will enjoy this very expressive music with modern harmonies.

16:00 (French time) everything has been repaired.

    Hi J-Paul,

Website worked ok for me just now (0700 in Arizona). Beautiful work ... I detected a little hint of Vierne's Berceuse for one measure ... very nice touch.

Beautiful chord progressions - Hopefully, Corno Dolce will record this piece sometime and post it here.
