Good news week ...

Another amazing pet story. I had to avert my eyes in the market yesterday as they had fresh rabbits, sans skin and heads and paws in the meat section. I know it is eaten by many, but (gulp) it makes me feel a tad sad to see the poor little slaughtered bodies under celophane wrap.

I had an amazing siamese cat (Miss Bits) who was very psychic. She would sit contentedly on my (late) mother's lap. When I got off the bus (never a predictable pattern by the way) she'd hop off and go sit at the front door and yell her head off at me. If we had visitors, and she did this, they would say "Where's the cat going?" and my mum would say "David's about two minutes from home I reckon" and almost invariably I'd come into the house. I always felt VERY honoured that Miss Bits and I had a mental connection. I was distraught and balled my eyes out for a week when she died of diabetes.
