Re: Music Education
By the time you receive this reply you will have most likely decided on your plans but for what little it's worth - after high school there are basically two tracks in U.S. colleges: the conservatory track or the university track, some school doing a good job of providing good academics and good music. Hopefully, if you decided that you wanted to be a performer you would have chosen a performance school (like, say, Indiana, Peabody, Eastman). If you wanted to go more into academia you would have been been better off choosing a place like (Harvard or Columbia, although I think Eastman has good musicology too). If you wanted to go into teaching, your best bet is probably Columbia Teachers College. Well, good luck. - Adam

Re: Music Education
If you want to do pop music there is only one choice and that's Berklee.
