Promised myself I would watch The Descent, on CT64s recommendation, and then forgot about it. Must get it out and try it. One thing amazes me. Stephen King is a prolific writer and king of the modern horror writers, but his film adaptations are either fantastic, like The Shining and Christine or rubbush, as in The Mist. Why? You would think a famous writer such as him would be able to pick the best producers and directors but it does not seem to be so.

I don't watch horror movies as they don't have much interest. Some of the psyhological thrillers can be entertaining (if I have someone to protect me after watching)
Stephen King is a neighbor~well kind of. He lives about 45 minutes away. As you can imagine he has a lot of visitors during Halloween. He is a nice man (met him once or twice) and a community oriented man...

A dear friend who lived in a spooky old house complete with a turret moved after watch The Sixth Sense. They were convinced that if they stayed there they would end up seeing something one night, whether real or imaginery.
