An Astonishing Cathedral...

Fascinating - A little surfing on the worldwide reticular today produced this:

This Cathedral stands 124 meters tall - With the Cross it is 134 meters tall(439.632 feet)

What an interesting looking cathedral ... I've never seen anything like it before.
Do we know where this place is located and/or if it has an organ?

Its located in Maringá, Brazil. I'm still looking for any reference to an organ in that sanctuary. The name of the Cathedral is Nossa Senhora Da Gloria(Our Lady Of Victory).

I'm no acoustic expert, but with that cone height, it may be similar to performing outside where the sound goes straight up. The acoustics would be rather dry I would think ... no hard "edges" for the sound to echo off of inside that cone. It would be an organ builders nightmare, for sure.

Those are solid and smooth concrete surfaces inside the cone as far as I can tell.

It certainly is striking and unsual in design. Just seems like a lot of wasted space. I would like to see some decoration on the inside.
