I love listening to the radio on the internet, with all the choices. We have satellite radio and can listen to that online if we like, but there are so many other choices that I bounce around. I love listening to Euro stations.

Shoutcast seems to be all over the place, including AOL. Hope they stay around.

I have Last.fm on most of the time, have quite a varied selection from baroque, mostly keyboard, Bach, Couperin, Rameau & Telemann, Jazz, especially jazz piano and guitar, big band swing and some prog rock, no opera, ballet, or other classical after the baroque period.

I prefer last as I can specify the albums and tracks I want, it is my selection not dependant on a DJ or other outside person. If I get fed up with a track or album more I can delete it from my playlist and if I hear an artist or composer say on Youtube or normal radio I can add it to my list. And it's free.

The only streamed radio I occasionally listen to is BBC radio 7 particularly repeats of old comedy shows from the 50s and 60s like the Goon Show, Round the Horne, Navy Lark and others.

I listen to Classic FM (Australia's national classical music radio). It's pretty good most of the time. http://www.abc.net.au/classic/audio/

We always listen to Classic FM in the car, much better music to hear when travelling.

J.H.C. do you find you walk with a tripping step? I mean when one can't see ones feet due to one's enormous schnozz...

Thanks for the tip about Reciva - have you got a URL for that?

this link will do the trick you have to register but that’s no big deal.
It is not the easiest site to navigate since they altered it.
    http://radio.reciva.com

Regarding my snoz its like a Bat’s radar antenna very useful and you get used to it.

Contratrombone64 I am glad my proboscis is entertaining you,
Have you tried Reciva?? I use it for all my internet radio stations on my Tangent Radio, the quality of different stations varies and is not of the highest quality but good enough, after all, when Hi Fi results are wanted we use our Cds, the stations can be kept on the computer as short cuts and listened to as the fancy takes you. And it is free

For online radio lovers that don't have a hardware radio, might I suggest Radio Tuna? It covers 20,000 stations with a unique search interface and has been called "online radio at it's best".

Sadly I don't listen to online radio, althou our local station (OFM) does stream online. With data prices in South Africa it's cheaper to buy the radio station than listen online.

I just tried it and could not get results from the search for BBC 3,4 or 7 so I must be doing something wrong, I was very impressed at the speed of the connections, can I ask is this your Baby
