head and the deference due to a man of pedigree!
POOH. Merely corroborative detail, intended to give
artistic verisimilitude to an otherwise bald and unconvincing
    narrative.
    PITTI. Corroborative detail indeed! Corroborative
    fiddlestick!
KO. And you're just as bad as he is with your cock--
and-a-bull stories about catching his eye and his whistling an

I'm not an atheist and I don't think I can call myself a pantheist. We are in the position of a little child entering a huge library filled with books in many different languages. The child knows someone must have written those books. It does not know how. The child dimly suspects a mysterious order in the arrangement of the books but doesn't know what it is. That, it seems to me, is the attitude of even the most intelligent human being toward God.

    Aloha CT64,

Doggone It! There's that G&S again...

Tbph, I probably feel as cool about G&S as you do about Jazz.

Yes, I'll read the Mikado libretto....

Now it says the video has "been removed by the user". Damn!

Apparently the Association des Amis de l'Art de Marcel Dupré had them removed for copyright reasons. Too bad though ... guess we will have to purchase the DVD to see them now

Oh well, it was nice to have *sampled* them while they were up. Yep, I'll get the DVD - whenever AAMD gets around to putting it up on their website <8-|
Probably have to wait until Doomsday's morning....

If that is the reason for the disappearence, it would in my view be silly on their part, since there are probably more people who know about the videos' existence through Youtube than though their own hopelessly outdated 19th-century-ish methods of advertising (heck, they don't even talk about the DVD on their web site ).

    Aloha acc,

Yeah, YouTube got them more customers for free than their enfeebled *marketing* strategies.

    Cheers,

All I can get is "We're sorry, this video is no longer available". Sometimes wonder just who makes these decisions, and why they can't leave well enough alone.
