I've never been a fan of Lars, the person...but he is without a doubt a Percussion (set player) Badass of the First Order. If I'm lucky, I'll eventually develope into a drummer half as good as he is.
metallica lost their true potential when they decided that being driven by alchohol wasnt something wanted to do... they're no longer the same "[deleted]" thrash band

LOL, I thought this was 'Budgie' as in The Siouxsie and the Banshees drummer, who BTW is a fantastic drummer!
Lars might be a douche, but he is a great drummer.
