Hey it's great! love the opening ostinato and growling tones, wonderful stuff. You're amazing!

It's powerful and evocative ... I love the celtic feel (to me at least) and the timpani affect ... beautiful.

    tack!

Thanks, i'm glad you like it
I will make sure to update in the near future. So check back soon!
The update will mainly consist of a development of the theme where it develops into something.. not sure what yet.

    Hej Frederick.

This is a very enjoyable beginning to something and of very high class. I can see this being the intro to a major piece. well done :-)

    Hi Frederik.

This being my first post read and replied to here on MIMF for over 3 months please excuse my "interruption".

The "tune" has a nice calm start, and the initial thematics are quite good. It's clear, though, that you're unsure what the direction of this will be as it comes of a little monotonous and repetitive. You have some nice themes and thematics, but need some more contrast and more "sense of direction" for it to really "take heights".
But a nice start and with some work you might find your "new world" in the end - though the "newness" is sounding somewhat familiar as it has some "folk/traditional music" feel in the latter part of the piece.

    Keep up the good work!

    Cheers
    Thomas

This is pretty good, even for the intro. I'm curious as to how the song well end up like!

I like it--it does have a folksy airiness--but it's very much along the line of what I understand as 'program music' is so I think it would do well in a movie soundtrack--somewhere, sometime, somehow...

    Regards

    L

Holy crap its been two years since I posted this tune :O
Thanks for the feedback and comments everyone!
I'm currently finding ways to better myself in completing my tunes. For instance, I am now teaching myself proper chords! I never knew how easy it is to make chords once you know the rules

Now. About this tune. I haven't updated it. I'm sure I will because I feel it has potential. But I haven't gotten around to installing the necessary instruments yet (Since I am under a new OS these days)

elfspell: Sorry about that. I had forgotten that I switched servers a while back. I reuploaded for ya (different location though)
