    Some Sick People...

What has this world come to? A 27 year old man has been arrested for sexually assaulting sheep which has caused the death of two animals and several others severly traumatised:

    Hi CD

That is awful, how can a human being do something like that to a defenceless animal. They should throw the book at him, or as punishment make him work with animals.

    Aloha Dame Margaret,

I wouldn't want him near any animals at all. He needs long-term qualified psychiatric care.

    Cheerio,

it's not awful or sad, it's beyond. once i saw children in my neighboorhood torturing a pigeon and leave him right under the wheel of a car waiting at a crossroads. i know children are pure in good AND evil, but sometimes it's unimaginable.

Marval, appalling behaviour, especially for one so young. I just don’t understand.

Neither do I, what makes someone so young do something like that? We never had pets when we were young but, we were brought up to respect all animals.

The parents need a good talking too as well.

    Aloha CT64,

The demonic depravity of certain people knows no bottom.

Yes, CD; sad but true. Today there was a story on the news about a couple who take in abused and/or neglected horses. The woman said that with the economic turmoils of late that they have more people dropping off horses with them because they can't afford them anymore. They are struggling to keep up as the cost of hay has tripled and they have double the horses they really have room for. They used to pay for upkeep with 3 boarded horses they also keep, but that doesn't quite cover the bills anymore. But they will persevere and hopefully people that see the coverage will donate to help out. They mentioned that some people just cut their horses throats or let them starve or bash their heads in. Totally horrible. I'm just glad that the majority of people are animal lovers.
