    Unprofessional disfiguring plastic surgery.

I remember a couple of months ago talking about plastic surgery on a thread, I gave a piece of advice for a mimfer about having silicone plastic surgery done to her breasts. In her words to become sexually free, that she should investigate the clinic first, to discover whether the surgent actually was a scollered doctor or not, and what his/her reputation as a surgent told?

Hereīs an example of unprofessional disfiguring plastic surgery, done to the american actress Joan Van Ark aka Valene Ewing, perhaps better known in America from the TV sitcoms, Dallas and Knots Landing from the 1980īs.

I do believe though that this surgery was not the first one, she had. But at least she can still keep her nose in the middle of the face, unlike one MICHAEL JACKSON, who has been under the knife many times before.

I think plastic surgery should only be used as a last resort. I have no intention of going under the knife, just for vanity.

Here is a scary tale with photos.

    Ms. Margaret

I agree with you, looking at these scary pictures from your link much much worse than the picture, I entered.

I can understand and appreciate people who due to a fire or a car accident has been burned on 3/4 of the body that they are offered plastic surgery for cosmetic reasons.

But I canīt understand and appreciate what the heck make these women to voluntarely, paying tens of thousands of dollars, to have it done, and keep coming back for more. But I guess it is one of the latest addictions among the jet set world wide.

Dolly Parton does not look anything like she did either - twenty years ago, or Burt Reynolds for that matter, who today looks like his skin on his face have been ironed on, not being able to give a real smile, because he canīt.

instead of giving advices , i would just suggest that you all come to paris, if you have not already. a simple walk in some of the richest neighboorhoods of the eighth , sixteenth and seventeen arrondissement is much more like a visit to a horror museum. sometimes i tell myself, with this typical american tv police man feel: " what's the matter with them? ". before touching to their face just because they bought a "people" magazine (for a sum that can buy a good meal) in wich they saw pictures of skinny actresses who look more and more like giant praying mantis, sometimes with antigravitationnal chest, they had that funny idea and belief that they weren't good-looking enough, and often made legitimate fools by what we call here "charlatans".

very few people really likes his / her face and body. as for me, i hate hospitals and cutting things.

Sorry, of course there are males too, who voluntarely do this, like the male, former cocaine addict, the american actor Gary Busey, perhaps better known from his part as the sociopath Mr. Joshua, from the series of movies with Mel Gibson and the afro american actor Danny - is it Glover?, canīt remember.

Oh yes, what drugs donīt do to people?

well, here i will take another position, that is to say a defending one, concerning mister rourke. he DID needed some retouches because of his practice of boxing. since he's not a priori a great boxer, he's been uh, destroyed!

the funniest thing about mickey rourke is that he 's been hired to play the most incredibly looking character of frank miller's "sin city". and he did a superb job. at the end of his story ("the hard goodbye"), he dies on the chair.

    Totally freaking sociopathic.

I would figure, he actored the part as the sociopath Mr. Joshua, for a very good reason better than the producers and the director could dress up and better disguised, than anyone else available, and with next to no stylist and make up.

Perhaps thereīs another part around the corner for him. I read somewhere that the movie "The Shine", starring Jack Nicholson, should be done in a new edition.

JN is a one in a million of actors, because he can "change" his face depending on the scene in a movie from an apparently happy polite guy to the most evil vicious bastard, only using his face.

Hereīs a contest for you guys, just before the evening TV news. Is the picture below a portrait of a half and half fish/woman:

    Jesus, I feel sea sick!

Of course not, canīt you guys recognise Donatella Versace? - The sister of the late fashion guy, Gianni Versace, shut down and killed outside his house of a jealous gay unidentified man (to me) in 1997.
