    Smile Jodrell Bank

For those who didn't know there was talk of closing down Jodrell Bank Observatory, which would have been a crying shame. So many wonderful things happen there, as anyone interested in astronomy will know.

The good news is it is saved.

    Aloha CT64,

Jodrell Bank is the forefather to modern radio-astronomy. Its mission was not to produce lurid astrophotography

    Aloha Tûrwethiel,

Yes indeed! Anything that tickles(dazzles) the optical nerve is lewd(lurid).

I found this interesting, but not too lurid I'm afraid.

Ha, CT. I've read and watched far too much sci-fi and think I could get there in a par-sec.
