    That sounds about right. My poor brother has the same sad hairline as my father and his father and my mother's brothers have full heads of hair, as did her Dad.

    So a lack of hair is "sad" is it, Turwethiel. I think not (personally). As to your borther, he's a picture of sartorial elegance ;-)

    Sorry. I'm a big sister and can't help being sympathetic. That started when he became too big for me to continue torturing.

    Well my father's side of the family all seem to have a good head of hair. My father went white but kept it all, until he died aged 89. The males on my mother's side seemed to loose theirs fairly early on.

    As far as I can remember being told, you inherit the gene for hair from your maternal grandmother.
