This is a small impro performed at home on my virtual organ.
As you can hear, I can still play a little from time to time when my fingers are not too much paralysed , but only slow music.
Although I applyed, I have had to bring some corrections to this recording.

Incredibly moving! I would not describe the music as slow ... actually, there are some organists in these parts who, even on their best days, can't play that fast.

What, in the name of all that is sacred, is a "virtual" organ? Are we to the point of substituting for the real thing?

As for maladies of the fingers, we probably all reach that point eventually. I'm 71, and I'm certainly not as limber as I once was. There are stories that when Widor was asked to make some recordings, one of his objections was that his fingers just couldn't do what they used to. But in those days, he probably also figured they wouldn't sound like much.

If I use a virtual organ, it is because I cannot play practically any more the organ. The Parkinson's disease is a terrible, incurable and very badly known disease. People think that the patient has only shivers. It is false. The Parkinson's disease is a kind of paralysis which affects all the voluntary movements: fingers, hands, then feet, legs, face ...
When i was younger I was a good organist, and you can be sure that if I could play on a true organ I'll prefer than playing with my computer.

I would like to play my own music, but it has became impossible. It's the reason why I ask to organists in good health to do it for me.
But, excepted three or four formidable persons, I received twenty times more promises than audio recordings or videos.

You very much have my condolences. I was not aware that was the problem. I've seen more than one person with Parkinson's, and it must be a terrible thing to go through.
