    Liszt "Funérailles" transcribed for organ

“Funérailles” (from Harmonies poétiques et religieuses for piano) by Franz Liszt has been transcribed for organ by Jeanne Demessieux (no less!), and here is an amazing recording of this transcription, played by Pierre Labric (Demessieux's student).

    Aloha acc,

Thanx for sharing Liszt's *Funerailles* transcribed by Demessieux. A glorious instrument for an impassioned piece. I have Roggs transcription - am trying to get hold of Kynaston's version - I definitely want to get Demessieux's version.

    Cheers,
