    Thanksgiving X 2

This one (or two rather) was a special one for me cause I got to do somethin' really sweet for a friend. My roommate had to work Thanksgiving day and had to settle for warmed-up leftovers at her Momma's later that evening. Knowing this, I bought a big 21lb bird at Kroger a coupla days prior. My first time cookin' a turkey turned out wonderfully. The meat was both very tender and juicy. Best of all though, I made certain a good friend had a hot thanksgiving meal. It felt good and was refreshingly out of character for me. I'm normally quite the Lil' Eboneza around this time of year. Heehee!

That was such a nice thing to do, Amie. Well done ... for not drying the turkey out as well!

a greater gesture would be to kill the animal yourself, after having chased it the whole afternoon by 9 degrees celsius!!!

kidding. nice move. to me a real good pancake is a miracle.

Amie, that was a wonderfully nice gesture and I know it was deeply appreciated. Way to go! (Like your new avatar, BTW. Always a fan of Anne Rice)
