Going to Ireland...

Hi all,

I'm going to Ireland for 1 week during this summer and was wondering, since I've never been there before, if any of you had any suggestions of what to see while over there. My girlfriend has lived in Dublin for a year or so, so she, naturally has a little knowledge of the country, but I'd be happy to hear more about it - besides that which one can read in any generic "the trip goes to..." booklet.

I haven't been there so I don't know what places you should visit.. Just try googling it, I'm sure you'll learn a lot.

I'm not sure exactly where to go, but make sure to take plenty of pictures to share with us! Oh and I heard that there are still many castles there that are open to the public. Some of them I believe you can actually eat dinner in!
