    Yes Magaret,

    He's very well known in France and in Paris specially. One of the great cafe/club musicians that played in Paris from around the time of WW2 and in to the 50's. He performed with well known singers of the time including Edith Piaf. I've a few more of his records. This kind of music is relaxing and very pleasant to me.

    I did enjoy listening to him, as you say relaxing. It does remind me being in Paris.
