Indeed, http://www.oberlinger.com no longer works, but http://www.oberlinger.de still does. I guess they're the same Oberlinger, since the Error 404 on the first site appears in German. Can anybody confirm?
What I do know about (the German) Oberlinger is that they've merged with Hammer, another organ builder. Could these be the rumors you've heard about?
