Sounds acceptable to me. Must be challenging to have people from so many different countries in same orchestra.

I still can't get the problem with those batons and conductors. After all, if they allow an orchestra with 50 performers and only one conductor, why could not we suppose the opposite would work great too ( 50 conductors, 1 performer ). All options in between would be herewith ok as well - so everybody gets an opportunity to do whatever he wants, and all are happy and smiling.))))

Except for the listener perhaps

Well considering they are not like a regular orchestra, it is very good. They have done well to get together and perform.

they did this last year too- glad to see its not a flash in the pan concept. The big thing I am starting to see is orchestras holding "Symphony Idol" competitions and getting vocalists to sing with the orchestra.

whatever works, I'm all for it!
