Handel's music in the film 'Barry Lyndon' (1975)

In the highly acclaimed period film of Stanley Kubrik, ‘Barry Lyndon’ (1975) great use is made of an arrangement for orchestra of the ‘Sarabande’ from Handel’s Suite in D Minor (H.437) - a work originally written for solo harpsichord.

Golly, I'd forgotten all about that movie. Thanks for the reminder, Robert.

There's a movie called Greatest Story Ever Told where on the end
they were playing the Hallelujah Chorus from Mandel's Messiah.
